What Is The Best Size For A Kitchen?
In nearly every home environment there is an argument about how much work needs to be done on what room and a lot of the time it is the kitchen. But just how big do you need the kitchen to be? Do you really need one of those big fancy designer kitchens wine its own built in wine cooler? I will never see the reasoning to getting such an expensive kitchen, however I will admit to some of them looking fantastic and although they are not necessary they do look brilliant. So the question is, why do people spend so much of their hard earned cash when they only really use it to cook in once a day? The answer being I have absolutely no idea
All in all I think it’s got nothing to do with how rich or poor you are more being how willing you are to impress.
So let’s be honest, the first place everyone goes when there is a party is the kitchen. The thing is when people walk into a house they have never been in before the first thing they will do is judge it and thats just how the human mind works. It’s unfortunate that is what we do as humans, we wan’t to be better than everyone else. How much time and effort needs to be spent on deciding how much and how you are going to have your kitchen before you even start out? If people are going to judge everything from your flooring to your choice of dinnerware, is there much point trying to impress at all?
A decision in my house has still not been made to extend the kitchen to make space for a bigger one. I wouldn’t get a big kitchen myself. As in my house where all the kitchen is used for is cooking one maybe two meals a day with only one person being in there at any one time. Why after having people in your own kitchen do you feel like it’s not good enough? Well the real answer is people care what other people think and thats something I have never understood. As well as this there are some fantastic top of the range kitchens out there as well as the bespoke kitchens that you design yourself. You can customise everything from your lighting plan to the style of your wine rack. I really find it hard to understand why people spend so much money on kitchens, then again some of them are amazing.
